We love London. And we love comics. But which is best? There’s only one way to find out: exhibition! Sequential City, the exhibition we curated, designed, built and launched as part of the 2013 London Design Festival, gathered together contemporary comic book art which depicted London in a wide variety of forms. We invited an impressive raft of Brit comic creators to take part – from emerging talent to established names – including Costa Book Prize-winner Bryan Talbot. As well as the exhibition design and build, we also ran a series of comic-making workshops for children and produced a set of short films, working with our regular moving-image partners at Bokeh.
“Sequential City gets back to our love of comics.”
Editor, Creative Boom
“This show reminds us just how much creative potential this city of ours boasts, and importantly the curators have placed beautiful original panels next to the finished books so they can be contextualised.”
