An ethical estate agent? Yes, that stopped us in our tracks, too. But this ambitious new start up was absolutely for real, basing their new business on a set of pledges to be honest and transparent in all their dealings.

Solution

Our task in creating the Brickworks identity from scratch was to find a compelling way to communicate that truly distinctive positioning. Good old-fashioned bricks and building materials provided a solid foundation for the name, typeface and colour palette. While, in terms of overall look and feel, we went for a comfortable “no place like home” vibe.

Since its launch, Brickworks has gone from strength to strength, growing its team, its geographical reach and its reputation along the way. The design principles we established from the start have stood the business in good stead, as it has evolved and adapted over time.
